Chase Young not expected to make season debut for Commanders vs. New York
By Ethan Stone
Published:
Chase Young has missed the entirety of the season after recovering from ACL surgery. The former Ohio State Buckeye has been missed in Washington D.C. as the Commanders hold on to a chance to make the playoffs.
They can greatly increase their chances Sunday night against the Giants. Both teams have a 7-5-1 record and tied in their previous game. This is easily the most important game of the season for both squads so far

That’s why having Young would be a major boon. The Commanders announced Young was cleared to play earlier this year, but his knee is not where the team would like it to be for him to see action against New York.
Washington’s Chase Young will not play tonight against the Giants, per @RapSheet. He was listed as questionable and continues in his recovery from ACL surgery.

The Commanders hold optimism that Young will play at some point with 4 games remaining on the regular season schedule.
