Chase Young receives tough grade from mom: 'She said that I'm not leading the league in sacks'
Former Ohio State defensive end Chase Young might be receiving some impressive grades from Pro Football Focus, but his mom is certainly not sold.
On Thursday, Young revealed to reporters that his mom gave him a different grade on his first six games with the Washington Football Team. Let’s just say she is grading Young on quite the scale.

Chase Young's mother gave him a C+ for his first six NFL games. "She said that I'm not leading the league in sacks."

Well, I guess Young got to where he did with his mom being tough on him and not just pumping him up all the time. That appears to be quite evident.
His stats are quite impressive through six games. He has 15 tackles and 2.5 sacks. Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams and Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns are tied for the league lead in sacks with 9.
While I’m sure she supports her son 100 percent, this is comical and I’m sure this is much more of a motivator for Young than any Pro Football Focus grade.
