Ohio State is thankful to have Chase Young back against Penn State!

The superstar defensive end for the Buckeyes has missed the last two games due to a suspension. Now with that behind him, Young is back on the field and playing well against the Nittany Lions. He also entered the game with 13.5 sacks and just off Ohio State’s single-season sack mark.

He started the game by compiling half a sack with a play in the first quarter. Young teamed up to take down Sean Clifford on one early third-down play in the game.

Later in the game, Young took over the No. 1 single-season mark with a play in the third quarter. He once again earned half a sack on a crucial third-down play to stop a Penn State drive and force a field goal.

With that play, Young now has 14.5 sacks on the season, passing Vernon Gholston’s mark of 14.0 from 2007. That also puts Young in second place on Ohio State’s all-time list with 28.5 career sacks.

How high will his total finish this season?
