Chase Young has been rehabbing an ACL tear he suffered in Washington’s 29-19 win over the Buccaneers in Week 10 last year. Now, he’s trying to get back on the field for the first time in 2022.

ESPN’ s John Keim provided an update for the former No. 2 pick out of Ohio State. On Sunday, Young will reportedly meet with Dr. James Andrews to determine a potential return to practice. If all goes well, he will be available for Week 8.

Young currently has 70 tackles, 9 sacks and has forced 6 fumbles in his young career so far. After a strong rookie campaign, he was off to a slow start in his sophomore season before his injury.
