Ohio State will be without a potential playmaker as it takes on Indiana on Saturday.

Chip Trayanum is not in uniform and will not play on Saturday, according to reports. Trayanum was previously listed as a game-time decision for the Buckeyes.

The RB’s absence comes just 2 weeks after he had been confirmed as a full-time running back if the team needed him to be. Trayanum was a sub behind TreVeyon Henderson filling in for Miyan Williams, who left the Penn State game with an injury in Week 9.

Trayanum joined Ohio State this past January after transferring from Arizona State. Before joining the Buckeyes as a LB, Trayanum was a 4-star RB in the 2020 recruiting class with nearly 700 yards rushing for the Sun Devils. The LB has produced 8 solo tackles for the Buckeyes this season.
