Chris Holtmann was asked the low attendance numbers through the first two game of the season. He revealed his thoughts on the matter.

Ohio State is 2-0 after wins over Robert Morris and Charleston Southern. The Buckeyes recently beat the Buccaneers by a score of 82-56 on Thursday. While the wins are happening, one thing that the team has not had is a lot of attendance at the game so far.

Holtmann stated that he pays a lot of attention to the student section at home games. While there could be some cause for concern, he did mention that the student tickets have sold out very quickly compared to the past.

Holtmann doesn’t seem too worried about attendance at this point.

The Buckeyes may need some more fan support with No. 19 San Diego State coming to Columbus on Nov. 21. Ohio State will have to get through Eastern Illinois next on Nov. 16 before then.

Ohio State tips off against Eastern Illinois at 7 p.m. ET on BTN.
