Chris Holtmann weighs in on CFP opportunity for Ryan Day, Ohio State football
Chris Holtmann knows that Ryan Day is under a lot of pressure as Ohio State’s HC. Holtmann commented on Day and how the Buckeyes HC has handled it so far.
Day has Ohio State sitting at 11-1, but almost missed out on the College Football Playoff. Thanks to Utah upsetting USC in the Pac-12 Championship, the Buckeyes get another shot.
Holtmann credited Day for what’s been accomplished this season and is excited for the College Football Playoff opportunity that awaits the team.
“There’s a point where the pressure can feel overwhelming for any coach,” said Holtmann. “From what I’ve observed with him, he does a terrific job (of managing that). I’m excited about this next opportunity for him and that program.”
