Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann is extremely optimistic about the arriving recruits that will replenish a roster that currently fields eight seniors. Additionally, junior forward E.J. Liddell has solid NBA prospects as well.
Here’s what Holtmann had to say about the recruiting class on Nov. 11:
In reference to the 2022 recruiting class, Chris Holtmann says “there’s no question we can continue to have classes of this caliber.” Holtmann says it will be a “building block” for the Ohio State program moving forward.

Chris Holtmann said he anticipates Ohio State “will bring in a transfer or two” in the offseason even after signing a five-man recruiting class of 2022.

Ohio State tipped off this season with a 67-66 victory vs. in-state opponent Akron. Next up for the Buckeyes is a home matchup vs. Niagara on Nov. 12 (7 p.m. EST). Ohio State begins conference play with a road contest at Penn State on Dec. 5 (7:30 p.m. EST).
