Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson were a dynamic receiving duo at Ohio State. Now, the pair of Buckeyes are in Indianapolis for the NFL Combine.

Leading up to the positional workouts, Wilson was interviewed on Wednesday and had one interesting question thrown his way. Which Buckeye receiver is faster?

Wilson was honest and gave the edge to Olave:

“Chris can really slide,” Wilson explained with a smile. “Back in college, I would say he’s faster, he’s got that get out. Chris has got some wheels on him.”

Both receivers were dynamic in their own right. Olave finished his career as the program’s all-time leader in touchdown catches, but it was Wilson that had the edge in catches and receiving yards during 2021 with 70 catches for 1,058 yards.

Most publications are projecting both receivers to be first-round picks, though most have Wilson coming off the board first. In PFF’s latest mock draft, Wilson is selected No. 13 by the Browns while Olave is selected No. 21 by the Patriots.

It will be interesting to see who posts the better 40-yard dash time in Indy and who comes off the board first in April’s draft.
