Chris Olave — the former Ohio State star and current New Orleans Saints rookie — has been cleared to play following a concussion. Olave revealed his update on Tuesday, saying he’s “ready to get back to it.”

Olave says he is 100% cleared to return to action and expects to play Thursday night.

Olave sustained the injury during the Saints’ game against the Seahawks when Olave was hit hard and appeared to be unconscious for a moment. Now, he is ready to go after passing all the necessary tests.

Olave’s absence was felt as the Saints were already hurting in the receiver position. The Saints have been without Michael Thomas, Jarvis Landry and Deonte Hardy, who were all injured on Sunday.

The Saints have struggled to start the season, currently sitting at 2-4. They lost to the Bengals on Sunday and are looking to get back on track against the Cardinals.

Olave played at Ohio State from 2018 to 2021 and recorded 2,711 yards and 36 touchdowns in his time before being drafted 11th overall by the Saints.
