CJ Stroud threw his first NFL touchdown Sunday afternoon against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Ohio State rookie hit receiver Nico Collins for an 8-yard touchdown pass. He waited for Collins to get open in a collapsing pocket but stood strong and threw it only where Collins could get up and nab it.

Check out No. 1 of many to come below:

Stroud’s Week 1 was rough, but that’s kind of expected for a first-year NFL quarterback playing one of the better teams in the AFC. He’s bounced back well against the Texans’ division rival and so far has completed 5 of his 8 passes for 58 yards and a touchdown.

Last week Stroud completed 28 of his 44 passing attempts for 242 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions.

Let’s see what the rookie can do moving forward.
