Did Stroud’s air show change his draft stock?

The biggest storyline leading up to the 2023 NFL Draft has been the QB1 debate. There have been a wide range of media takes on whether Stroud, Will Levis, Anthony Richardson or Bryce Young is the way to go for a team with an early pick.

Interestingly enough, there’s a sense that the Combine did little to alter the QB picture. Based on media reaction, Stroud, Richardson and Levis, for the most part, all performed/measured as expected. (Young’s measurements drew some size concerns.) The media/experts seem settled in their camps as to which QB should go first.

Stroud’s throwing ability was no secret. The average fan may never know if Saturday’s throwing session moved him ahead of another QB on some team’s draft board.
