CJ Stroud lands national honor for performance in Ohio State's Week 11 win vs. Indiana
CJ Stroud added another feather in his cap as Ohio State rolled over Indiana 56-14 on Saturday.
The Heisman contender QB was awarded the Week 11 Maxwell Award Player of the Week in the decisive win over the Hoosiers. Stroud racked up 297 passing yards and 5 TDs on Saturday while also surpassing a school record.
Stroud became the only quarterback in Ohio State history to throw for 5 touchdowns against B1G competition four times in a single season last year and met that mark again on Saturday.

Should the Buckeyes win out over Michigan next Saturday, Stroud is considered by many as a lock for the Heisman. The QB is tied for the No. 1 position with 34 TDs on the season, while also racking up 2,750 passing yards. Stroud’s 90.9 quarterback ranking is also good for the top spot in the nation.
The Buckeyes will take on Maryland this Saturday at 3:30 pm EST at Byrd Stadium.
