C.J. Stroud is well ahead of schedule when it comes to his transition into the NFL. The former Ohio State quarterback has just passed Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott for the most pass attempts without an interception to start his NFL career.

Stroud has 178 pass attempts without an interception 5 games into his first year with the Houston Texans. Prescott had 176 pass attempts before he threw his first-ever interception in his rookie season in 2016. Former Michigan Wolverines quarterback Tom Brady had 162 pass attempts before he threw his first-ever interception in his rookie season with the New England Patriots in 2000.

Stroud is starting in his 5th game for Houston as the Texans (2-2) are on the road facing the Atlanta Falcons (2-2). Stroud was selected by Houston with the second overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Ohio State.

After a hot start to his rookie campaign, Stroud is already among the betting favorites to become the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year this season. Fans can check out our special DraftKings Ohio promo code to get in on all the NFL betting action this fall!
