C.J. Stroud and Ohio State suffered a disappointing loss to Michigan on Nov. 26. However, there were something that happened after the game that was even worse per Sports Illustrated’s Ross Dellenger.

Stroud received death threats after the loss, according to the Ohio State QB’s mother. The 45-23 loss apparently angered some Ohio State fans, who felt the need to let Stroud know about it.

Stroud took the comments with a grain of salt and said that he understands it comes with the territory.

“I don’t really look, but people have the audacity to call and talk to me and tell me what people say. It’s the nature of the beast,” said Stroud. “You accept the good with the bad. I thank God for a second chance at this game. We deserve to be here regardless of what happened that day.”

Stroud and Ohio State play Georgia in the Peach on New Year’s Eve at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. Stay tuned for more updates.
