CJ Stroud suffered a concussion during the Houston Texans’ Week 14 loss to the New York Jets. Since then, the standout rookie QB has been out of action.

Even still, the Texans were able to snag a win over the Tennessee Titans to improve to 8-6 on the season. The Texans, Colts and Jaguars – all members for the AFC South – all sit at 8-6 with 3 games to play in the regular season.

And unfortunately for Houston fans, the Texans will be missing Stroud yet again as the Cleveland Browns come to town. The former Buckeye QB is expected to miss a 2nd straight game following his Week 14 concussion.

It’s been widely accepted that Stroud has been the best rookie QB in the league this season. The former OSU QB hasn’t just been good for a rookie, he’s just been flat-out good.

Stroud has so far thrown for 3,631 yards (7th in NFL), 20 touchdowns and 5 interceptions while leading a complete turnaround of the Texans, one of the worst teams in the league last season.
