CJ Stroud believes his former running mate at Ohio State is clearly the best player in the country. He went so far as to call things “rigged” if Marvin Harrison Jr. does not win this year’s Heisman Trophy.

During an interview with Tom Brady and Jim Gray for the “Lets Go!” podcast, Stroud was asked by Brady — a Michigan alum — about The Game. Stroud admitted Michigan looks good but also said the Buckeyes are confident while playing their best ball in November.

“We’re confident. We’re feeling great as well. We’re playing our best ball in November which you want to see. Coach Day is leading those guys. I think Kyle McCord our QB is looking great,” said Stroud. “Marvin is the best player in the country. If he does not win the Heisman, it’s rigged. I’m calling it now: if he doesn’t win the Heisman, it’s rigged.

“Hopefully, we pull it out. We need it, man. We’re tired of losing to you guys. But you guys are always a great team.”

As for Harrison’s Heisman odds, he is currently fourth in the country and is the top non-QB on those odds. Oregon QB Bo Nix is the current favorite, but Harrison is definitely in the mix heading down the stretch.
