The Rose Bowl put on other classic and a game for the ages to ring in the New Year on Saturday. No. 6 Ohio State and No. 11 Utah put on an offensive display that was a beauty to watch.

Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud had one of his best games all season. He was 37-of-46 for an 80% completion rate, throwing for 573 yards, 6 touchdowns and an interception.

Stroud, after the game, talked about how losing to No. 2 Michigan to end the season fueled the fire for him and wanted to end the season off on the right foot.

“What motivated us wasn’t just this game, but the previous game,” said Stroud, according to Griffin Strom of elevenwarriors.com. “I know that was my motivation, just getting that bad taste out of our team’s mouth and ending the season the right way.”

Ohio State finishes the season at 12-2 and are the Rose Bowl champions. Even with some firepower at the WR position leaving yesterday, Buckeye fans are excited for the 2022 season with a young WR core looking to fill the shoes of Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson.
