CJ Stroud seen signing autographs, talking with service members following Buckeyes practice

Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud is a favorite among voters to win the 2022 Heisman Trophy. He’s also a favorite among fans for being one of the more likable players in college football.

Following Wednesday’s practice, Stroud was seen signing autographs and taking pictures with members of the military who were visiting. Stroud seemed to be engaged in conversations, spending time with each member and making sure to thank them for their service.

Stroud continues to strengthen his case as the nation’s top quarterback for the 2022 season with yet another stellar outing in Week 3. Against Toledo, the junior finished 22-of-27 passing for 367 yards and 5 touchdowns. Among his receivers, Stroud targeted 8 different Buckeyes for a reception, connecting twice with wide receivers Marvin Harrison Jr. and Julian Fleming for touchdowns. ,

Consistency has been Stroud’s biggest strength to begin the season. Through 3 games, the potential 1st-round draft has 11 touchdowns against zero turnovers. He currently is completing 72.9% of his passes and owns a 208.6 passer rating.

The No. 3 Buckeyes will remain at Ohio Stadium to take on Wisconsin this Saturday at 7:30 pm EST.
