C.J. Stroud gave one of the humblest post-game interviews you might ever see on Sunday.

The Houston Texans beat the Cincinnati Bengals on a game-winning field goal from Matt Ammendola. Stroud finished the game with 356 yards passing, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception.

Stroud returned to Ohio as Houston beat the Bengals 30-27. He was honored to face a great quarterback in Joe Burrow.

“That was a great Bengals team, a great defense,” said Stroud. “I’m a huge fan of Joe Burrow and it was an honor to play against him.”

Stroud threw up an “O-H” in the endzone during the game, playing once again in the state that he called home during his college years. Stroud said that it was a blessing to be back.

“I love Ohio. A lot of love in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus,” said Stroud. “It’s my second home, man. It was an honor to be here and I’m gonna always have love for the Buckeyes. It was blessing to be back in Ohio.”

The Texans move over .500 after the victory and head into Week 11 at 5-4 in second place in the AFC South. After a road trip, Houston goes back home to face the Arizona Cardinals at NRG Stadium next.

Kickoff will be at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
