As soon as Ezekiel Elliott made his way into the end zone to give Ohio State a 14-3 lead, Maurice Clarett assumed the game was over.

The former Ohio State tailback tweeted this upon OSU taking an 11-point lead.

Clarett does have a point in terms of the competitiveness of the rivalry. Michigan State beat the Buckeyes two out of their last three meetings, with the most recent triumph ending the Buckeyes’ perfect start.

Michigan, on the other hand, only beat OSU once in the last 10 years.

Still, it’s far too soon to pronounce this game over. And nobody will argue that arguably the best rivalry in college football is no more.
