Clemson's Dabo Swinney trying to get an edge by reading Urban Meyer's book
When you get into the College Football Playoff, you’ll do just about anything to win.
Dabo Swinney is going to try and speed read before Clemson takes on Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl to help give his team an advantage.
On Monday, after the Tigers arrived in Phoenix, Swinney met with the media and talked about the Dec. 31 matchup against the Buckeyes. Apparently, the Clemson head coach now has the book of his counterpart who will be on the opposite sideline on New Year’s Eve.
Dabo Swinney: "I just got (Urban Meyer's) book, so I'll try to get that thing read by end of week. If you have cliff notes, send em my way."

Swinney is a pretty smart guy, leading Clemson to double-digit win seasons each of the past six seasons. Last year, the Tigers were 14-0 and reached the title game against Alabama but lost 45-40.
Maybe if Swinney reads carefully he can figure out why Urban Meyer is so successful after a week off. The Ohio State head coach is 44-3 in games with over a week to prepare. He’s also 2-0 in the College Football Playoff with one national championship and 3-1 in bowl games with the Buckeyes.
Meyer’s only postseason loss at Ohio State came in the 2013 to Swinney and Clemson.
We’ll see if that book has any hidden secrets on Dec. 31.
