Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud is following in the footsteps of Justin Fields. While it remains to be seen if he can reach the level of the Chicago Bears’ first round pick, the redshirt freshman is already making impactful plays in his first start.
Ohio State trailed host Minnesota 14-10 at halftime but took the lead on the opening drive of the third quarter when Stroud connected with Chris Olave for a 38-yard touchdown.
