The love for No. 4 Ohio State seems to be continuing to grow.

The Buckeyes typically sport a phenomenal defense — and they do this year as well — but have an offense to going along with it in 2018. In Week 1, Ohio State scored 77 points against Oregon State and then put up another 52 on Rutgers in Week 2.

Week 3 will certainly be more of a challenge for the Buckeyes, as the Urban Meyer-less group travels to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas to take on No. 15 TCU. Despite this, Ohio State is still favored by 12.5 points according to mybookie.ag.

One FOX Sports radio host is in love with not just the Buckeyes, but the team’s new QB Dwayne Haskins in particular.

That’s Colin Cowherd.

Here’s what Cowherd had to say about Haskins on his show Friday:

“Folks, Dwayne Haskins is Urban Meyer’s best quarterback ever. I don’t want to hear about Cardale Jones. I don’t want to hear about J.T. Barrett. I don’t want to hear about Alex Smith at Utah. The best quarterback Urban Meyer has ever had is Dwayne Haskins. He’s completing 80 percent of his throw. He throws a magnificent deep ball. Big time player.

“Urban Meyer is known as a creative guy. Dwayne Haskins at the next level could be a lot better than Tim Tebow (…) their offense right now — and this is without Urban Meyer on the sidelines — it looks fantastic.”

Cowherd was picking the Ohio State-TCU game during this segment and picked the Buckeyes to win 33-20. He also went on to finish by saying that the four best teams in college football look like Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and Auburn.

It should be noted, too, that while Meyer was at Utah and coaching Alex Smith, Smith declared for the NFL Draft and was the No. 1 overall pick. Haskins would surely be happy to follow in those footsteps.
