247Sports’ Carl Reed hopped on the recruiting website’s podcast ‘The Block’ on Wednesday with Collin Kennedy and Blake Brockermeyer. He discussed which schools have the best position groups in college football, among other topics.

Reed talked about which position groups stood out to him among the one’s that were listed during the podcast. Alabama’s linebackers, Georgia’s tight ends, Clemson’s DL, Ohio State wide receivers, and Texas running backs were all considered to be some of the best at each position. It’s hard to argue that Ohio State doesn’t produce the best WRs with names like Michael Thomas, Terry McLaurin, Ted Ginn Jr., Santanio Holmes, and now Garret Wilson and Chris Olave all coming out of Columbus.

Here’s what Reed had to say about the job Ohio State’s WR coach Brian Hartline has done:

“I love the Ohio State wide receivers here,” said Reed. “I think they’ve had some great consistency over the last couple of years. You add Marvin Harrison Jr. who’s going to be a big factor for them, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. I think it’s also a testament to how well WR coach Brian Hartline has recruited and developed. They’re getting the top guys in the nation, and I think that their receiver room is awfully special.”
