According to Phillip Bupp with The Comeback, the restaurant opened in May. While the idea of Urban’s Chophouse might have sounded neat, it is not entirely surprising to see the restaurant fall by the wayside. After all, Meyer has not coached at Ohio State since 2018 and his short and controversial stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars did not paint a pretty picture for the Urban brand.
