Curt Cignetti and the Indiana Hoosiers fell to Ohio State in ugly fashion Saturday afternoon, 38-15 in a game that was only close for one quarter.

The Hoosiers started strong, taking an early 7-0 lead on their first drive of the day. From that point on though, Ohio State slowly constricted the Hoosiers, leading to a dominant second half.

After the game, Ohio State couldn’t help itself. It made sure to troll Cignetti for his famous “Google Me. I win.” comments he made before this season.

Not this time, Curt.

Indiana, despite its loss and less-than-ideal resume this season, is likely to reach the College Football Playoff with a win over Purdue next weekend, thanks in part to the Florida Gators. Florida downed Ole Miss 24-17 on Saturday right after Ohio State’s win, which puts the Rebels at 9-3 on the year. Even without a very strong win, an 11-1 team is always going to make it in over a 9-3 team with 2 bad losses.

Ohio State, though, is basically a lock at this point. The Buckeyes have lost just once this season, by 1 point to current No. 1 Oregon in Eugene. With this win on their resume, the Buckeyes would need to be blown out by Michigan to miss out. Even then, they’re probably in good shape for a spot in the Field of 12.
