Danny Sheridan points to dominant preseason trend for Ohio State entering 2022
It is not often a team can go 11-2 with a Rose Bowl win and come away from a season a little disappointed with the results. While that was the case for Ohio State in 2021, the Buckeyes may be gearing up for a return to dominance in 2022.
Danny Sheridan, a well-known oddsmaker, recently broke down some of the early betting lines for the 2022 season, including one trend between a trio of powerhouses.
Sheridan pointed out that Ohio State, Alabama and Georgia will enter the regular season as double-digit favorites in every regular-season game this season, barring injury. As of right now, the Buckeyes would be 14-point favorites over Michigan and 13-point favorites over Penn State. Those are the two lowest lines for Ohio State.
Barring injuries, Ala, UGA & Ohio St are preseason double digit favorites over everyone on their schedule. lowest line: Ala -15 @ Texas. Ala 16 vs Texas A&M, Arkansas & LSU; Ohio St 14 vs Michigan & -13 vs Penn St. UGA -15.5 vs Florida
