Denzel Burke is keeping things close to the vest in regard to the 2024 NFL Draft.

Burke revealed at Tuesday’s presser that he’ll be telling everyone his plans on Jan. 10. He’s already made up his mind, but just doesn’t want to tell everyone yet. This is Burke’s 3rd season in Columbus. The deadline to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft is Jan. 15.

The Ohio State defensive back was feeling sentimental, emphasizing how great it is that he gets to finish out the year with his teammates in the Cotton Bowl. Burke accounted for 19 total tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 1 interception in the 10 games he played in this season.

“It’s a blessing to be here with my brothers and finish the season out the right way.” said Burke.

Lastly, the veteran DB offered some praise about Devin Brown. Brown will be the starter after Kyle McCord transferred to Syracuse. Burke can’t wait to watch his teammate under center.

“I’m really proud of Devin,” said Burke. “A lot of things I was not expecting that he showed me. I’m really excited for what he can do on Friday.”

The Cotton Bowl is set for Friday and kickoff will be at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
