Everyone is weighing in on the Chase Young situation. Since the NCAA made its decision to suspend the Ohio State defensive end for two games on Wednesday, several college football analysts have chimed in on the matter.

One of those personalities is ESPN’s Desmond Howard. On Thursday, Howard was on Get Up! to talk about the situation involving Young and the NCAA. He had plenty of fiery comments on the situation.

Young was suspended two games by the NCAA for borrowing money from a family friend to fly his girlfriend to Pasadena to go to the Rose Bowl in January. Young repaid the money, and was then granted a lesser punishment than the typical four-game suspension.

While the matter is now essentially over, Howard says the NCAA didn’t get to the “smoking gun” in this whole situation. That, of course, being the amount of money Young borrowed.

Below is Howard’s take on Get Up!:

That’s quite the take from Howard. He admits that he isn’t a fan of the NCAA’s rules most of the time, but says Young broke those rules. It sounds like the amount of money borrowed is a big deal to the ESPN analyst.

Young will miss Saturday’s game against Rutgers before returning to the field to play Penn State.
