Jackson acknowledged the line did not play well enough against a tough Iowa defense. Fortunately for Jackson, the Buckeyes had no problem scoring through the air. The Buckeye defense also made up for the lack of ground game, causing 6 turnovers.
The Week 8 matchup broke a streak of 4 straight games of 200+ rushing yards for the Buckeyes.
Jackson and the Buckeye offense will have a chance to bounce back in Week 9 against a mediocre Penn State run defense. The Nittany Lions are allowing an average of 140 rushing yards per game.
