Now that Dwayne Haskins is out of the NCAA he’s capable of making money any way he can. And the former Ohio State quarterback is already off to a pretty good start.
Yes, Haskins will sign a deal worth millions of dollars after being selected by the Washington Redskins at No. 15 in the NFL Draft on Thursday night. But to get a jumpstart on his financial success, Haskins decided to have a little bit of a business venture during the draft.
Haskins wasn’t in attendance in Nashville on Thursday night. Instead, he was with friends and family at a bowling alley to enjoy the experience. His NFL Draft party was also open to people around the area — for a charge.
According to Calvin Watkins of The Athletic, Haskins charged people $50 to attend his draft party on Thursday night. Not a bad deal for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

That’s also a pretty good reason to skip the NFL Draft. If you have the chance to make a few extra bucks by hosting a party, why not?
Haskins is about to sign a pretty lucrative deal with the Redskins, but why not get a jumpstart on his career? It certainly makes up for those years he couldn’t make any money at Ohio State while under the NCAA’s thumb.
