Elite 2019 Ohio State commit suffers torn ACL

You never want to see any play sustain a serious injury, much less a high school player during his senior season.
Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened for this Ohio State commit. Andrew Koob with NJ.com shared that Ronnie Hickman, a two-way player for DePaul (New Jersey), has torn his ACL. John McKenna, head coach at DePaul, confirmed Hickman’s injury. He will miss the rest of 2018.
Hickman is listed as a 4-star safety and the No. 3 player out of the state of New Jersey for 2019 on the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Of players already committed to Ohio State for 2019, Hickman is the sixth-highest rated prospect for the Buckeyes. Hopefully Hickman can make a smooth recovery from the injury.
