The Buckeyes have been virtually unstoppable through Week 5.

Ohio State’s latest example of dominance was Saturday’s 48-7 blowout of Nebraska. That marked the fourth straight win for the Buckeyes by at least 41 points.

At this point, it is worth wondering if Ryan Day can lead Ohio State to an undefeated season in his first full season at the helm. Obviously, the toughest games on the schedule are still ahead, but the Buckeyes look more than capable on both sides of the ball.

According to ESPN’s FPI, Ohio State has a 37.3% chance of winning out this season. That is up from the 14.8% chance the Buckeyes held following Week 3. It is also the second-highest percentage to win out in the country, trailing Clemson who is at 58.9%.

Michigan State heads to Columbus this weekend, and Ohio State is given an 89.6% chance of winning that game. Here are the three toughest remaining games for the Buckeyes, according to the FPI:

  • Nov. 23 vs Penn State – 77.8%
  • Nov. 30 @ Michigan – 81.6%
  • Oct. 26 vs Wisconsin – 84.4%

Can Ohio State run the table?
