The start of the season was not the best for the Buckeyes with an early loss to Oregon and a couple of up-and-down showings. However, Ryan Day’s squad rattled off 4 straight wins – including 3 straight games of 50+ points scored – to set the tone heading into the bye.

Now, Ohio State will get to work with a road trip to Indiana before finishing the year with 4 out of 5 games against teams currently ranked on the AP Poll. Fortunately, 3 of those games against ranked opponents will come at home with the season-ending road trip to Michigan the only road game left against a ranked team.

Nothing is a given, but Ohio State has still positioned itself in a good spot coming out of the bye. And with 6 games to go, here is what ESPN’s FPI is predicting for the Buckeyes:

  • Oct. 23: at Indiana – 90.3%
  • Oct. 30: vs. No. 7 Penn State – 79.4%
  • Nov. 6: at Nebraska – 77.5%
  • Nov. 13: vs. No. 25 Purdue – 90.9%
  • Nov. 20: vs. No. 9 Michigan State – 83.0%
  • No. 27: at No. 6 Michigan – 58.2%
