ESPN’s FPI is predicting the outcome of games during the Week 3 slate of college football. That includes Ohio State preparing to face Western Kentucky at home Saturday afternoon.

In terms of two teams facing off, this will be the first-ever matchup between the Buckeyes and the Hilltoppers out of Conference USA. However, Western Kentucky is no stranger to B1G football after facing Indiana and Michigan State in recent seasons.

Heading into the matchup, Ryan Day’s squad is a heavy favorite as the Buckeyes continue their march to try and reclaim the league title. The Football Power Index currently gives Ohio State a 97.1% chance of getting the win on Saturday. While Ohio State is a major favorite, no one in Columbus is about to take Western Kentucky lightly. The Hilltoppers operate a high-tempo wide-open passing attack and will be looking to shock the country on national television.

During his weekly press conference, defensive coordinator Jim Knowles even admitted he expects “a big test” from the Hilltoppers. Knowles believes the defense hasn’t seen a truly explosive offense yet, so he’s looking to see how his unit responds to a team that will take its shots down the field.

Saturday’s kickoff is set for 4 p.m. ET on FOX.
