ESPN’s FPI predicts outcome of Ohio State’s remaining games after Week 6
Things could not have gone better for Ohio State over the first six weeks of the season.
After an off-season of turnover in Columbus, there were a few questions surrounding the Buckeyes entering this season. The talent on this roster was never in question, but how they would respond to the season was uncertain.

So far, Ryan Day’s squad has aced every test thrown its way. The most recent one, at home against Michigan State, was the toughest to date. However, Justin Fields and company still won 34-10.
Entering a Week 7 bye, Ohio State is halfway home to a perfect 12-0 regular season. Obviously, it’s a bit early to celebrate with games against Wisconsin, Penn State, and Michigan still remaining, but there’s no denying they are in a prime spot.

The Buckeyes will be idle this weekend, but ESPN’s FPI recently updated the odds for Ohio State the rest of the way. Ohio State has been rising steadily for the past month, and there is currently just one game that Ohio State is given less than 80% chance of winning.
Here is how the rest of the schedule looks for Ohio State:

- Oct. 26 vs Wisconsin – 82.1%
- Nov. 9 vs Maryland – 97.4%
- Nov. 16 @ Rutgers – 99.4%
