ESPN's FPI updates Ohio State's chances of finishing season undefeated
Ohio State avoided a letdown loss against Indiana Saturday and now has a decent shot at finishing the year undefeated.
The Buckeyes used a huge game from QB Dwayne Haskins to put away the Hoosiers in the second half while putting up at least 49 points for the fourth time this season. There’s no denying this team is on an incredibly hot streak, but do they have a legitimate shot at running the table?

According to ESPN’s updated FPI, Ohio State is a heavy favorite in every game the rest of the way. The Buckeyes are given a 90% chance or better to win in four of their remaining games while being favored by at least 70% in every game the rest of the way. The season finale against Michigan is predicted to be the toughest game left on the schedule with Ohio State given a 71.9% chance to beat the Wolverines.
With Ohio State being favored the rest of the way, the FPI has given the Buckeyes a 37.6% chance of winning out. That mark is the second highest of any undefeated Power 5 team behind Clemson and is ahead of Alabama at 35.3%.
Obviously the team still has to go out and take care of business, but the road to the CFB Playoff is looking better and better for the Buckeyes.
