The Buckeyes are a perfect 5-0 this season, and ESPN’s FPI has updated Ohio State’s chances of finishing the season undefeated.

It may have been nerve wracking, but the Buckeyes came away from Happy Valley with a big-time win. Penn State’s attempts to put together a game-winning drive were thwarted by Ohio State’s defense in what turned out to be a gutsy performance.

Now that wins over TCU and Penn State are behind them, the schedule gets a little bit easier for the Buckeyes. Ohio State is favored in every game the rest of the way with the FPI giving the team a 90% chance to win in five of those games.

While the Buckeyes are in a good position, the team will need to maintain focus in order to prevent a slip up. The FPI also gives Ohio State a 35.7% chance of winning out and completing an undefeated regular season. That percentage is second-best of a Power 5 school on the FPI to Alabama’s 38.8%.

An undefeated season may not be easy, but anything is possible with the talent this team has.
