Evan Pryor, a former Ohio State running back who entered the transfer portal a week ago after 3 seasons in Columbus, will be staying among the Power 5 ranks.

The former Buckeye announced Wednesday that he will transfer to Cincinnati, which recently moved into the Big 12 alongside BYU, Houston and UCF.

Pryor is one of 2 Ohio State running backs who hit the portal. Chip Trayanum announced his commitment to Kentucky on Tuesday.

Apart from sitting in a running back room oozing with talent, Pryor missed major action on the field thanks to some unfortunate run-ins with the injury bug. Pryor tore his patellar tendon in his left knee just before the start of the 2022 season, which caused him to miss the entirety of the season.

Pryor appeared in 4 games for the Buckeyes this past season, totaling 49 yards on just 19 carries. In 2021, Pryor finished with 21 carries for 98 yards and 1 touchdown.
