'Everyone knows what a trash can looks like': Former Buckeye QB throws shade at Michigan's iconic helmet design
The rivalry never ends. The hatred between Ohio State and Michigan hardly gets put on hold.
The latest jab between the two programs featured former Buckeye quarterback Cardale Jones taking a shot at Michigan’s iconic helmet design. And he had no problem being quite frank in response to a question about the Wolverines’ popular winged-helmet design.

UNISWAG posted a question on Twitter this week: Does Michigan have the most recognizable helmet in college football? And, to be fair, the answer to that is almost certainly “yes.” But Jones decided to put his own twist on why it’s the most recognizable helmet in the sport.
“Clearly,” Jones wrote. “Everyone knows what a trash can looks like.”

Jones was at Ohio State from 2013-15 and the Buckeyes were a perfect 3-0 against Michigan during that time. So he does have some room to talk. It’s part of the eight-game winning streak OSU has on UM.
The former Buckeye might have just improved his record to 4-0.
