Ex-Ohio State wide receivers coach Zach Smith has announced that he will be releasing a new tell-all podcast titled “Menace2Society” in the near future.

Smith posted a video explaining his plans to release the podcast and warning that “no one is safe,” when the new show drops. He also then retweeted a brief trailer of the “Menace2Society” podcast. There was no specific date listed of when the podcast will launch.

Last July, Smith was fired as Ohio State’s wide receivers coach after alarming details of domestic abuse involving now ex-wife Courtney Smith were reported by Stadium’s Brett McMurphy. Smith has denied most of the claims against him.

With the podcast, Smith says he will be holding people accountable for their actions.

“Anyone that knows me knew that this was coming. That this podcast was coming, or something of this sort was going to happen,” Smith said in the video. “So, I’ve been held accountable for the thing that I did. I have also been held accountable for the things that I didn’t do.

“So now it’s time for me to voice my opinion, the fact, the truth that people don’t want you to know because everyone is going to be held accountable for their actions. For things that they actually did. No one is safe. I don’t care about anybody. Everyone is going to know what really happened.”

Smith is the grandson of former Ohio State head coach Earl Bruce. He was on Urban Meyer’s staff from 2012 through 2018 with the Buckeyes and also served on the staff under Meyer at Florida.

Meyer and Ohio State Athletic Director Gene Smith both faced suspensions in 2018 for the mishandling of Smith’s situation.
