Ex-Ohio State DE re-signs with NFL team
Former Ohio State defensive end Tyquan Lewis (2013-2017) has re-signed with the Indianapolis Colts. The news was reported on by Dan Hope of Eleven Warriors on Tuesday.

Lewis was originally taken by the Colts in the 2nd round of the 2018 NFL Draft at pick No. 64. His rookie contract was a 4-year deal worth $4.36 million with a signing bonus of $1.25 million. So far in his time with the Colts, Lewis has 56 total tackles and 8.5 sacks.

Lewis recorded 10 solo tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 1 interception in 2021. However, he was sidelined by a season-ending knee injury in Week 8 against the Tennessee Titans.
The new contract will be a 1-year, $3 million dollar deal.
