Former Ohio State guard Luther Muhammad has narrowed his list down to eight schools that he’s still interesting in attending to continue his college basketball career. None of them are in the B1G.

Earlier this week, Muhammad decided to enter his name in the NCAA transfer portal and search for opportunities outside of Columbus. After receiving interest from over 20 schools since his announcement, the ex-Buckeye has cut his list of options down to eight programs.

Muhammad told 247Sports that he’s still considering Auburn, Georgia, Alabama, Seton Hall, Arizona State, UCLA, West Virginia and New Mexico.

Last season, Muhammad averaged 7.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game as a sophomore with the Buckeyes. As a freshman at Ohio State, the guard averaged 7.6 points per contest and 2.7 rebounds per game.

Muhammad is a former four-star recruit.
