One former Ohio State lineman and 4-star prospect from the state of Ohio has announced his transfer destination.

The player is Ryan Jacoby, a 6-foot-4 and 305 lbs. offensive lineman out of Mentor, Ohio. He announced on Twitter Sunday evening that he is committed to Pittsburgh via transfer.

“New beginnings,” wrote Jacoby with his announcement:

Jacoby was a 4-star member of the 2019 recruiting class out of Mentor, Ohio. He committed to the Buckeyes as a top-300 prospect for the cycle and the No. 7 player out of Ohio.

Jacoby redshirted the 2019 season and did not log any stats in 2020. He was a B1G Distinguished Scholar, an OSU Scholar-Athlete, and an Academic All-B1G honoree in 2020.

Best of luck to Jacoby as he heads off to join the Panthers!
