If you didn’t know any better, you’d think Joe Burrow was still on Ohio State’s roster.

Over the last few weeks, Buckeye fans have showed unconditional support for their former quarterback, cheering him on through the first three weeks of the season. Fans and ex-teammates raved about him on Twitter in LSU’s opener vs. Miami.

And the Buckeye faithful cheered him last Saturday before Ohio State’s matchup with TCU. At AT&T Stadium, the LSU-Auburn game was being aired on the jumbo screen. After LSU’s game-winning kick, OSU fans erupted.

Burrow was overcome with surprise and gratitude when he saw the video.

“I thought that was really, really cool,” Burrow told Shea Dixon of Geaux247. “I enjoyed my time there a lot I love the place, love the people and love the fans. It really meant a lot to me that they showed love like that. I saw the tweet, then my mom actually sent it to me. I’m sure she cried about it, because she’s a crier, and she gets really happy. But, I thought that was really cool.”

Ohio State fans are still huge supporter of Burrow. The only thing that might deter them from cheering on the former Buckeye quarterback is a head-to-head matchup with LSU.
