Ex-Ohio State QB reportedly schedules visit to Texas
A former Ohio State quarterback may be returning to his home state to continue his college football career.
Quinn Ewers, a 5-star quarterback in the 2022 recruiting cycle who reclassified and joined the Buckeyes ahead of the 2021 season, is reportedly scheduled to take a visit to Texas on Saturday. The news was reported by Anwar Richardson of Rivals.com.

Ewers is reportedly deciding between Texas and Texas Tech. He entered the transfer portal after spending just 1 season in Columbus. Prior to his commitment to Ohio State, the nation’s top overall prospect gave a verbal pledge to the Longhorns.
Former Ohio State QB Quinn Ewers is scheduled to visit Texas on Saturday, according to sources close to the situation. Ewers is deciding between Texas & Texas Tech, but TCU was recently eliminated. Those close to the situation hope Ewers decides by Monday.

Per Richardson, Ewers was also considering TCU at one time, but the Horned Frogs have been eliminated from consideration.
Ewers was one of two Ohio State quarterbacks to enter the NCAA transfer portal following the conclusion of the 2021 regular season. Jack Millier III is also leaving the program.
Ohio State ended the 2021 season with a 10-2 record. The Buckeyes will play Utah in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day.
