With the NCAA Transfer Portal continually making the news, keeping tabs on the successes (and failures) of the various moves by players will inevitably become commonplace.

And, now that we’re on the doorstep of the 2021 college football season, 247Sports has put out a list of “transfer sleepers to know” and the list includes a pair of Ohio State transfers, wide recievers Jameson Williams and Mookie Cooper.

Williams, now at Alabama, is considered one of the fastest players in college football, and left the stacked Ohio State wide receiver corps. The St. Louis native pulled in 15 catches for the Buckeyes for a total of 266 yards over his two year stint in Columbus.

As for Cooper, also a St. Louis native, he’s heading back home to Missouri. Another wideout with tremendous speed, he pulled out from the deep OSU receiver room to get more playing time, and he should add a spark to the Mizzou offense.

The transfer portal has changed college football, giving players the ability to freely leave schools without restrictions and receive immediate eligibility at their new school. Watching how the results play out will definitely be interesting.
