Ezekiel Elliott is reportedly not expected to play on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported on colleague Tom Pelissero’s update about Elliott on ‘Good Morning Football’.
Elliott is dealing with a knee injury heading into Week 8. Elliott has not practiced at all leading into the game so far.
Here’s what Rapoport had to say about the news.
“He got hit pretty hard in the knee last week’s game,” said Rapoport. “Left the game briefly, ended up coming back and being productive. Has not practiced yet this week. According to colleague Tom Pelissero, not expected to play.”

If Elliott is unable to play against the Bears, the Dallas Cowboys will be leaning on Tony Pollard in the backfield. Pollard has 375 yards rushing with 2 touchdowns this season.
The Cowboys have a 5-2 record heading into the game.
We’ll see who Dallas ends up going with at RB1. The Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears kickoff at 1 p.m. ET on FOX.
