Another twist has been added to the Ezekiel Elliott case.
According to documents attained by Yahoo Sports, Elliott’s accuser in a domestic violence case from 2016 discussed the possibility of leveraging sex tapes involving the Cowboys’ running back as a form of blackmail. The document acquired by Yahoo is 160-pages long and contains findings of NFL investigators.
Here are the portion of the text messages that Yahoo Sports published on its website:
[Accuser]: What if I sold mine and Ezekiel’s sex videos
[Friend]: We’d all be millionaires
[Friend]: We could black mail him w that
[Accuser]: I want to bro
[Friend]: Let’s do it
[Accuser]: Scared
[Friend]: S***
[Friend]: Id be like look give me 10k or I’ll just sell our sex videos for the same amount flat
[Friend]: Me and my friends tryna go on vacation and get boob jobs
(the report notes a pair of blank texts)
[Accuser]: 10k B*** I want 20k
[Accuser]: Go big or go home
[Friend]: That’s fine too
According to Yahoo Sports, the text messages don’t disprove the domestic violence claims against Elliott and they don’t provide any evidence into whether Elliott did or did not attack the accuser.
Elliott has been suspended for six games by the NFL after a year-long investigation by the league. The punishment was issued on Aug. 11.
On Tuesday, Elliott formally appealed the six game suspension.
